My boyfriend is allergic to tree nuts is he likely to be allergic to cumin?

He is allergic to eggs, bananas, hay and tree nuts, including peanuts. Any idea what else we should avoid? I’d like to make a lamb dish with cumin next weekend but don’t want to re-send him to the ER.
We don’t know what else he may be allergic to. We found out a year ago that he can’t eat garbonzo beans, didn’t see that one coming.

Those pregnant with previous children allergic to nuts?

My son is 3.5 years old, and allergic to wheat, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts. I am 9 weeks pregnant now with our second child. My doctor told me to definitely avoid nuts this pregnancy…but I forgot to ask specifically why. Have you ever heard or been told this? Does it pre-dispose the child to an allergy? Chances are already high of this child having allergies. Just wondering the logic behind this?

Does a milk allergy mean egg and nut allergies also?

I have just learned that my 6 month old daughter is allergic to milk (formula) I have switched her to soy formula and she is already so much better. Is soy formula safe to use? I have found conflicting information on this. Should I also assume she is allergic to eggs and nuts and avoid introducing them until she’s 3? (for our other daughter we introduced nuts and eggs at 12 months with no problems)
She is not lactose intolerant, we tried that first, she is allergic to the protein in milk.
